HR investigations of complaints of unlawful conduct, discrimination, and harassment

Our employment law attorneys are experts in workplace HR investigations, and can help your business by:

  • Investigating complaints of unlawful conduct, including workplace discrimination and harassment.
  • Preparing written reports documenting workplace investigations.
  • Counseling clients who choose to investigate allegations internally.
Investigating Discrimination, Harassment, or Other Misconduct
Employers often contact us to investigate allegations of discrimination or harassment. We perform investigations into these claims, interviewing the accuser, witnesses to alleged acts, and those accused of the alleged discrimination or misconduct. We then provide the employer with a comprehensive report that evaluates the validity and strength of the claim and provides recommendations for remedial action, if necessary. Some clients request our guidance while they conduct their own internal investigations.
Investigations for Law Firms
We are often approached by other law firms who need an “independent expert” to conduct discrimination and harassment investigations in order to avoid conflicts of interest that would arise from their own investigation. Our firm assists these other law firms by sensitively and tactfully conducting our own investigations of the allegations.
