Partnership Announcement from Jules Halpern

January 25, 2018

As we begin 2018, the 15th year of our law firm’s history, we are pleased to announce an exciting change in our firm’s leadership. Paul L. Scrom Jr., who joined the firm in April 2013, has become a partner. Paul received his Juris Doctorate in 2012 from Hofstra University School of Law, which he attended on a full merit scholarship. During law school, Paul was an Articles Editor on the Hofstra Labor and Employment Law Journal. Prior to law school, Paul graduated Magna Cum Laude from Binghamton University in 2009 with a B.A. in both Philosophy of Law and History. He is admitted to the practice of law in the states of New York and New Jersey.

Paul has worked with all of our clients, and they are impressed with his grasp of complex laws and his ability to provide them with practical, contemporary and creative strategies. He has a rare blend of smarts, caring and strong communication skills. Paul has helped our boutique firm chart our course, as we expanded our practice areas to include our mainstay, workplace issues, and also, agreements and education law for private and charter schools. Our website details our many varied practice areas.

Paul tackles legal issues with diplomacy and professionalism and we share the same work ethic, integrity and sense of purpose. Paul and I are always reachable to provide prompt counsel to our growing client base.  We continue the focus of our original mission: to shield all our clients from costly workplace disputes and the exposures of government audits by supporting their business and organizational goals with our compliance counsel.

On a personal note, Paul and I wish to thank all of our clients for their trust in us. We also take this opportunity to wish our many colleagues, clients and friends, a warm New Year, filled with opportunities for growth and professional fulfillment.
